How Clean Do You Need to Leave Your Bulgaria Property After Selling It? - 03 August, 2011
If you have sold your property in Bulgaria, and are moving out so that the next owners can move in, you might be wondering what the appropriate level of cleanliness is that the house should be in when they arrive?

As a home seller, it is your responsibility to clean your real estate in Bulgaria to a certain level before handing it over to the buyers. However, what does this mean? There are often no legal requirements that state this, and if there are they are very vague. Because there are no established standards for knowing how clean the house should be, it is up to you to determine what is appropriate.

If you are too busy with moving out of your property in Bulgaria to spend a lot of time cleaning it, it might be a good idea to hire a professional cleaning service. Sometimes, the agent who is listing your home will pay to have it professionally cleaned.

Even though whoever buys your real estate in Bulgaria will clean it to their own standards once they have moved in, you should still create goodwill by leaving the home in the condition that you would like to find it. It is a nice thing to do and it will create a positive relationship with your buyers. The new owners of your house will be the ones who will forward mail to you as well as other things, and so it is a good idea to forge a positive relationship with them. Moving is tiring, and no one wants to move into a dirty house and then be overwhelmed with a huge amount of cleaning work.

The following is a list of things that you can do once you sell your property in Bulgaria so that your house will be reasonably clean for the new owners:
• Remove all of your personal property and furniture.
• Hoover or sweep the floors.
• Wash the floors,
• Throw away the trash.
• If you have carpets, you might want to get them professionally cleaned if they are very dirty.
• Clean the kitchen appliances, including the inside of the refrigerator, microwave, and oven.
• Wipe down counters and surfaces.
• Clean the bathrooms.
• Wash the tiles in the bathrooms.
• Repair any nail holes or marks on the walls.
• Sweep the ceiling to get rid of any cobwebs.
• Wash the windows.

Once you have finished, take a look around the house and ask yourself, if you were walking into a newly purchased property for the first time, would you be happy with the level of cleanliness? It doesn’t have to be absolutely gleaming and spotless, but a good cleaning after your sell your property in Bulgaria will make it so much more inviting to the new owners, and they will truly appreciate the time you took to make the house a nice place to arrive in.
